1. Current project status
Sentria is a concept-stage project. The school surveillance and reporting platform described on this site is not represented as a deployed service. The pilot design and its safeguards must be reviewed with participating schools before implementation.
2. Information submitted through this website
If you contact the team, you may provide your name, email address, organization, inquiry category, and message. The site uses this information to respond to you and discuss a potential pilot, partnership, or investment.
If the web host supports the optional PHP contact handler and its outgoing mail service, the handler sends the inquiry to the Sentria contact email. The handler does not intentionally save submissions in a website database. If the handler is unavailable, the site opens a draft in your own email application, where you choose whether to send it. Normal email providers may retain messages in mailboxes and logs.
3. Analytics and cookies
This starter website does not include third-party analytics, advertising trackers, embedded tracking pixels, or marketing cookies. Your host may maintain standard server access logs for operating and securing the site.
4. Contact information and rights
For privacy inquiries or requests relating to information you have emailed, contact samanthapaual@gmail.com. Requests will be evaluated in accordance with applicable Philippine privacy law and the practices of the email or hosting service in use.
5. Proposed Sentria pilot safeguards
The pitch deck proposes these design choices for the future platform. They are design intentions, not independently audited or implemented guarantees:
- No facial recognition in the proposed system.
- No cameras in classrooms as part of the proposed deployment.
- On-site analysis of compatible IP CCTV feeds where practical.
- Security-staff verification before alerts are escalated.
- Role-based access for authorized school or LGU users.
- Privacy assessment, school agreements, retention rules, and access controls before real-world operation.
6. Important limits of automated detection
A proposed weapon-detection tool can generate false positives and false negatives. Signals must not be treated as proof of wrongdoing. School officials remain responsible for proportionate, lawful emergency response and established child-safety processes.
7. Future updates
This notice should be updated before collecting live video, student reports, staff identities, or school operations data in any pilot. Appropriate consent or other lawful basis, retention schedules, incident procedures, security practices, and partner responsibilities must be documented before deployment.
